All Anthropologie merchandise is unconditionally guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please let us know so we can take care of you.

Returns of Online Purchases

Returns via Post

Please complete the “return reason” section on the reverse of the packing slip, detailing each item, quantity and the reason for return. Place this form in the parcel, along with the items being returned. If you have a returns label, please attach the label to your return parcel.

If you do not have a returns label, please send your parcel to:

We recommend you send your return using a secure or traceable method – such as Recorded/Special Delivery – and that you retain your proof of postage.

Returning A Gift

If you have received a Gift from Anthropologie and you are not happy with it, you are more than welcome to return it to us. You can return it via post using our label provided or alternatively you can exchange the item in one of our stores. If you are returning your parcel via post please complete the returns form on your packing slip making sure you select ’09 Returning a Gift’ as your reason for return. The amount paid for the item will be credited back onto your Anthropologie Account. Please note this may only be used online through your account.

If you have not set up an Anthropologie account, please sign up online before returning your gift. This will ensure that the correct account is credited. Alternatively, if you would like the senders account to be credited for the gift please simply follow the standard return instructions including the Reason for Return codes 01 - 08 If you need assistance, please email us at service@anthropologie.eu, or call us at 00800 0026 8476

What happens next?

Once your return has been received in our returns centre, we will send you an email to confirm your return has been received and refund processed. Please note returns can take up to 28 days to be processed.

Refunding Returns

Most returns will process in approximately two to three weeks, depending on your method of return. The refund will be credited back to your original method of payment, and will post approximately two days after the date of processing. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly credit card statement. Gift card purchases will be refunded in the form of another card and mailed to your billing address.

Please note: we are unable to process refunds for expired bank cards. The amount paid will be issued as online or store credit.

Refunds for merchandise purchased over a year ago that are not accompanied by a packing list will be refunded at their current selling price.

Anthropologie is not responsible for shipping fees or lost returns.

Delivery Charges are non-refundable.

Please Note - In order to process your return we request that:

  • Swimwear and intimate apparel must be returned unworn and with the original packaging and tags in place.
  • Shoes must be tried on a carpeted surface until you are certain you are keeping them.
  • In the interests of hygiene cosmetics and pierced earrings cannot be returned.

Returns to stores

You may also return any items purchased online to our London and Edinburgh stores. To do so, you must bring along either the packing list from your parcel or the despatch email you received when the goods were shipped.

Please note that our stores in North America are unable to take returns of merchandise purchased in Europe or the U.K.

Store Merchandise

We cannot process store - bought returns at our warehouse. Please return your items to the store where you made the purchase or to the store closest to your home.

Exchanges

We cannot process exchanges at this time. The original item(s) must be returned and a separate order placed for any new merchandise; placing the new order at the same time as you send the return will ensure that you receive the item(s) you desire.

Alternately, you can return your unwanted items to our store and select new items at that time. Please bring your packing list or despatch email.

Price Adjustments

If you have purchased items that are subsequently reduced in price, we will gladly offer you a price adjustment if the original date of shipment was within 14 days of the reduced price offering.

Furniture

Furniture can be returned within 30 days from the date of delivery for a full refund. After 30 days, Anthropologie will replace any manufacturer defect for up to one year.

Paypal orders

Orders paid for using PayPal can be returned to us as follows:

  • IN-STORE - For an exchange or store credit.
  • BY POST - For a refund to your PayPal account (See ‘Returns of Online Purchases' for instructions on how to send items back).
